Intro

I'm a curious problem solver, who loves to code and experiment. JavaScript and Python are my favorite languages so far. I've resolved issues from recipe formulations, to optimizing production lines and troubleshooting machinery.

I've run a restaurant as the executive chef, driven product development and project management in food manufacturing, then moved onto industrial engineering where I was given some of the most pressing issues that faced the company on a regular basis. I was constantly given different projects with pressing deadlines where I needed to quickly learn new skills- such as drafting schematics for mechanical part fabrication using AutoCAD, troubleshooting production/packaging machines, and modifying recipe processes/ingredients to meet client's criteria. I resolved the issues or got the key components involved to get it rolling.

Now I apply all the skills I've gathered in my journey into Software Engineering. Instead of determining which ingredient/process is compromising the recipe, I look for vulnerabilities in applications. I spend more time looking at time and space complexities rather than production line bottlenecks. The great thing about programming compared to cooking is that you can run iterations and experiment at a much more rapid pace. No need to preheat the grill, and cook for 20 mins with each test. The downside is you can't eat code.

I use JavaScript, Python, React, Redux, Flask, Express, PostgreSQL, SQL, HTML5, CSS3 and more...

If I'm not coding, you'll probably find me cooking, min/maxing a game, or reading.
